MASC’S 2024 SUMMER THEATER CAMPS

The MASC Summer Theatre Camps 2024 will be offering three age-specific camps this year!

  • Junior High Camp (Ages 11-13) June 10-14, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with performances TBD
  • High School Camp (Ages 14-18) June 17-21, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with performances TBD
  • Elementary Camp (Ages 8-10) June 24-28, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, with performances TBD

All camp days and performances for the junior high and high school age groups will be held at the Historic Capitol Theatre in Waterloo (202 S Main St. Waterloo, IL 62298). All camp days and performances for the elementary age group will be held at Gibault Catholic High School in Waterloo (501 Columbia Ave. Waterloo, IL 62298).

Registration fee is $100 per camper and should be paid by cash or check made out to Monroe Actors Stage Company. All payments can be turned in to directors on the first day of camp in a sealed envelope with the student’s name on it. If you are registering more than one child, the first child’s registration will cost $100, but every other registration after that will be discounted to $75. All registration forms are due by June 1. Throughout the duration of these camps, students will have the opportunity to hone their auditioning skills and then go through all the stages of putting on a show. Students will be able to learn about all different aspects of theatre while also rehearsing for their own show that will be performed in front of a live audience at the end of the week. Each camp will have age-appropriate activities and learning objectives that will elevate their understanding of the art form. Make this summer memorable with MASC!
